First establish the optimal orientation, considering that rolled flooring comes in predefined lengths. Measure the room at its widest and longest points to ensure coverage. The flooring will then be precisely cut to fit these dimensions during installation.

Again, establish the room’s orientation as above and simply measure the length and width.
Over Allowance
Adding overage to your calculations is highly recommended to ensure full coverage with rolled flooring, as the manufacturer’s tolerances and mismeasurement can account for variation. Consider adding 10cm to your length and width.
