You can use the below tool to help you calculate the area of your room. The tool will add the recommended 10% over allowance into the calculation and convert the area into the number of boxes that you will need.
Irregular Room Calculations
first, divide the room into two or more regular shapes (e.g., rectangles or squares) where ‘A’ and ‘B’ represent the area of each shape. Calculate the area of each (as below). Then, add them together to find the total area of the room.
Regular Room Calculations
Simply measure the length and width of the room and multiply them to get the m2 area of the room as shown in ‘C’.
